got given a v-reg datsun cherry about a month ago free.the clutche was gone but it had loads of tnt on it,so i thought good first cars for the bitch to drive.any way i have been a mechanic for 21 years and ive never done a clutch on one yet,till today -wot a piece of piss,any one eles done one and thought the same

 

I used to own an A reg nissan cherry europa bout 11 years when I was 15. It was my 1st car. I thought it was the dogs wotsits and I remember fitting a bright yellow max power sticker to the back window
Mine had the alfa engine fitted. Me and my uncle put the engine in. I never got to drive it on the road though. Sold it to the scrapman nearly a year later for £30 .

aren't they like the early astra/cavalier, where the clutch comes out of a gap in the bellhousing without seperating the transmission from the engine?

 

yes thats right mate ,had a good time doing it as well .like i said piece of piss.need to sell it with out our lass finding out
