Right yesterday me and bigern off here were board so we cheered our selfs up by buying a pair of rs turbo cabbie's to kill......
they both have 9 month test and tax to may with rs turbo wheels and bodykits....
Bigern wanted the nicer one of the 2 and is running a mfi escort rs turbo lump with stage 2 turbo - chip and 285 cam.....
And i got the DOG , mine needs a paint job but ill do that myselfs the wekend and is running a fiesta rs turbo lump using the original efi wireing.....all seems to have been done properly and is quite a tidy convertion but when we went to see the cars mine would startup run for a few seconds then cutout and i was told it was running a bit better than that but when it came on boost it just popped and banged and my first thoughts were to much boost but then it started running for a few seconds and cutting out..........anyhow when we went back for the cars mine would not start at all and after a quick look the fuel pump was not working................
so the plan for tomorra after i been to pick a t4 up for me saff is to check to see if the pump has power and to change it if it has but if it has not got power is there anything else i should check on one of these??????
Ive already tryed changeing the fuel pump relay.......
I do think it will be the pump though as i noticed the pressure reg was screwed all the way out so it chance to have burnt the pump out........
Enyone know what the fuel pressure should be set at on a fiesta rs turbo engine......? also should any pipes be removed when setting it..if is which one????

Are these the two from up Boro way? I think it was Jacko selling them but not sure?
