Dakar Rally cancelled
Organisers announced tonite that due to the murder of four French citizens in Mauratenia. And specific threats against the event from unidentified terrorist groups the safety of the competitors was deemed paramount and thus the rally has been cancelled.
Shame that politics has stopped this for the first time in the events history.
