funny i have 3 different internet providers in my house and there ALL SLOW just to THIS site

Mate, there are 550 people online now. Why not pop a topic up and ask them if PF is slow right now then. prove your point, then you will no longer need to argue yeah?.

Ah right, so its slow 50% of the day. What times are you suggesting then?

ill start keeping a diary, but usually afternoons are awful ( for me ) as to what days sorry didnt keep note, im on either BT or virgin both slow at same times both get errors at same time

phpBB : critical error could not connect to database

Is a database error IE: An SQL database overload..... fook all to do with weather your ISP goes through tim-buck-2 or next door

Stu you can be a funny sod sometimes Stay off that fooking coffee

...you are obviously lucky as to when you choose to look at pf if you are getting no major slow downs or critical errors...no its not all the time,at present its fine.

I find passionford to be slower in general than a site like AV Forums for example. Occasionaly I will get the critical error message, though 90% of the time it works fine without issue. Its hard to say what the issues really are without seeing the network and server data/specs etc..
