I have a remaped ST..if you can afford the day to day running cost and you've had cossies, s2's in the past then maybe the ST will be a little boring for you..get an Evo.

series 1,s and 3 door cossies all the way think ford are trying to revive the days of old with the st range after they dropped the rs badge in favor of mondeos and 1.25 fiestas the only good thing to come out of it is the focus rs

 

The ST is not a substitute for the RS badge ..its stands for sports technology think of it as a modern day XR..comfy yet quick enough

 

never said it was a substitute but they had to do something surposed due to the increase in popularity of the evo,suberu etc
