i think they are fairly simple to fit, the 1.7 inlet will probably gain a bit of torque but your not going to notice much difference to be honest.

the frp inlet looks the bizz, but is really quite expensive for what it is, i've heard of people getting gains of around 4-8bhp with this fitted, but really it works better in conjuction with say cams, full exhaust system etc.

i've also heard the standard 1.6 inlet will do the job fine for anything up to 150bhp, anything after that is probably when you want to think about changing.

No point at all..the standard inlet is unrestrictive up to around 150 bhp......the puma inlet will gain you a couple of bhp at the top end and lose you midrange torque.....really not worth it unless you have some really agressive cams

A simple set of cams, decent 4-2-1 and exhaust and a remap WILL see you very close to 150 bhp on a 1.6 se Zetec. I know loads of peeps who've been down this route and all of them ave produced the numbers. See YoungDan's fiesta on here for example.

www.shawspeed.com will also give you sa few pointers

cheers mondeo man! must admit if the puma inlet is polished it will look better than the plastic inlet! been watching youngdans&wide ka's thered! top stuff what these lads are doing
but if the standerd inlet is gud 4 150bhp then y do most go down the throtal bodey route like both these guys have?
