My day started at 4:30am didn’t go to bed till 1:00 and was awake till 1:30ish anyway I picked fiestacosdan up on the way and we had a slow drive tailoring the escos with the Audi was meant to meet Radders on the M1 with Mark/MK but as I was running a bit late they went on but we met up later in the Day anyway

9:00am got too donno missed the first session and warm-up lap ect have never been here before so could have done with I little insight to the track but heyho off I went

First session found the track really slippery and on the 3rd of 4th lap a Fiesta turbo let me pass and I went on some standing water at the twist at the top of the Pit straight and spun the car right round full throttle in second only stopping less than 3ft from the wall!

Next session I took Radders out with me getting a bit more used to the track felt I was a lot quicker than before and was making sure I didn’t go off the racing line, was being held back by drivers not wanting to get out the way and before we all knew it session over

Third session I let feistacosdan out in the Car with Mark/MK as Dan has been helping me to get the car sorted over Xmas for this day and thought it would be a nice treat for him

Forth and last session for me was after lunch with good ole Rainbow in the passenger seat, was really picking up speed on this lap making good time “for me” with mike not his usual self shouting at me I had to asking what was the matter and why he wasn’t giving me any stick had he fell asleep, next thing I know im being abused just how I like it tearing round the track

Disaster struck at the same place I spun it in the first session only this time the car lost all oil pressure as I was trying to shift into 2nd from 3rd and I then tried 1st and had to just coast into the pits

Turns out that the oil was only 10/40 and where it was getting hot it wasn’t up to the job and the Gear cradle had come loose where the selector sits as whoever done it up had stripped the thread out L first thing tomorrow me and fiesta cos dan will be Changing the Oil for 10/50 and the dropping the gearbox out to helical the Bolt back in place! : panic over!

Went out in Martins Car and Fuck me what a machine! The noise, speed and gearbox is all out of this world made my car feel like a Diesel “this was just before session 4 BTW” Thanks for the ride Martoon was cool sorry I didn’t get a chance to take you out but next time maybe Bedford you can have a go at shouting abuse at me

Also as I was late I had to park my car outside of the Reyland pits this gave me the chance to meet Dangerous and Porkie Top Blokes look forward to meeting you again nice having a chat with you’s

Throughout the day I met loads of people off of here some I recognise by face and name and said hello to I.E. ComedyDan, Butch, Danny_B and a few others and also met Yum Dave and Helen, nice chatting to you look forward to seeing you on track Dave

Also Diva came over early in the day and said hello and pretty much stuck around most of the time had a good chat with him about loads of stuff what a genuine nice bloke, Also met Shorty, Sticky, Nash and the rest of his crew near the end of the Day

did 3 sessions and had oil leaking from behind the thermostat housing area,decided not to take it out.

yours was going well.
