I find it hard to believe they can take the abuse they do when a 7.5" cossy diff will shit itself at the thought of 500hp

They dont, they weak as fuck, just the power spread of 4wd lessens the stress on em.

Convert a scooby to RWD even with fairly standard power and you will smash the shit out of it in no time.

The TypeR ones are bigger n beefier, but still not great, hence why they often put Skyline GTR rear diffs in RWD converted Scoobies.

I always jack scoobs on the rear diff and use a piece of wood as already said. I've done it loads of times without any trouble.

My mate did convert his Scooby to RWD, done 2 diffs and a gearbox in 3 months driving it silly everywhere to be fair

we used to jack my mates type-r up on the rear diff and never had any issues
