Default removin 4spoke rs wheel?

wat tools do i need to remove a 4 spoke rs wheel from my S1 and fit a standard1,any help much appreciated

Think its 22mm socket or 24mm

Ps if your selling the 4 spoke let me know

as above undo the nut whilst the steering lock is on, once the nut is off take the steering lock off and the wheel should just pull off

why do u need 2 take the steering lock off can u not just leave the steering lock on,undo the nut pull off the wheel and refit the new wheel,tighten the nut then take the steerin lock off??

What was this about when removing a steering wheel from an escort some bush dis-lodges and can get trapped/fucked if not put back together right or am I hearing rubbish?

I`ve got one mate, leather is in not too bad nick but the stiching has come away at the bottom slightly, pm me if your interested and i`ll send you a couple of pics

The steering lock holds the wheel on even if youv taken the big nut of, i found this out when i used to have my old s2 and sat for 25 mins punching and pulling at the wheel

Without the steering lock off you cannot take the steering wheel off..... the little block of metal which drops prevents this!

Would be too easy for thieves otherwise.
