Nope they aren't The S1 has a sensor in it for coolant level which the later S2 did'nt have. Might be best getting soem alloy tanks fromth elikes of Bailey, Pro-Alloy etc

Someone's getting confused over WASHER BOTTLE and HEADER TANK somewhere down the line.

The windscreen washer bottles aren't available from bailey, etc as stainless items. Plastic ford only or manufactured OE style - none alloy though.

*Edit;
http://www.baileymotorsport.co.uk/im...t_Brochure.pdf
Only waasher bottles they do are Focus & Sierra: because these sit inside the engine bay, like most header tanks.
They do make a HEADER for the S1 though..but still thinking Kelly is after a WASHER BOTTLE that sits inside the passenger side wing like this S2 item

S1 screenwash tanks are black, sit in the pass side inner wing and the nozzle pokes through a hole in the inner wing.

I replaced mine as when I got the car it didnt have a genuine tank in it, and someone had drilled through it at some point when drilling rivets out for the bodykit turned out they'd done the same with this S1 tank I got out the scrappy but I repaired it np

Are you wanting any tank or do you need a genuine S1 tank?

i have a black screen wash bottle with the rubber grommet that sits in the inner wing

i know these are rare and hard to get hold of

only thing its missing is the pump, but these are the same as mk4 vans or cabbies anyhow

all the wiring is there for it aswell

they dont ave sensors in the screen wash bottles though, well this one doesnt

i was going to stick it on ebay as i bet these would go for some in good condition i bet

but im open to offers

i can et pics up tomorrow if anyone is interested

alreet chaps. Basically, the tank is fine. Its just the pump that is shorting out when you connect it up. I think water is getting into it somewhere. i will get the old one out and have a look.
