I know we are talking about proper diffs here, but how many bhp can the front diff cope with the sandwich plate fitted for the casing ? Just want to know if I have to consider buying a strong diff or if I can keep the std one.

Its from the Romanian hillclimb championship winning c of 2000 & 2006 , its a mix of Tarmac and Circuit conditions judging by the videos on youtube ( check the word Baldescu for vids of my car ) .
Its marked 96 and a Ford Motorsport number ,
cheers

a simple job to mod it then . Its a 1996 MS part number on it , im not that familiar with these so i cant comment further on its origins .
You also forget the X trac G4 Sump/Front Diff , £13k inc vat new . I can supply one and a gearbox if needed .

the atbs are substandard in any case tbh, and if im classed as a 'rally boy' then we dont really use quaife unless theres no other choice

various lengths available plus the inners are lobro joints not tripoid, with larger outer cv's meaning theuse of proper hubs ( there are conversions for std use hubs about )

The R&D fronts i have seen forsale go for around £2000/2500. Martin has run one for a while without problems and Kev Sharp was running 600+ through one with hard launches and 10's 1/4's now Mad Yum has his old diff.
