if you buy a steel spur you gotta buy the complete conversion kit that costs about 60 squid as you gotta buy the racing clutch bell too

Ive got the conversion, well worth it imo

This thread brings back a few memories!

Its about 11 years since i gave up racing but ive still got all my old cars!!

Probably a bit archaic now but i'll never get rid! lol!

Got a Tamiya Escort cossie with the TA02 chassis converted to run with a Top Force Evo twin deck chassis and loads of different shells,
A front wheel drive Tamiya Honda Civic again with loads of shells,
Scumacher Cougar 2000 with the laydown front shocks (my first race car!),
Scumacher Cat 2000 EC with every upgrade I can remember!,
Scumacher SST 2000 again with every available upgrade,
Team Associated RC10 B2 with all the trick bits,
And a Tenth Technology Predator scale saloon which I have never actually driven!

Will try to get some pics up!!

Afternoon Lads, I used to be in RC racing years ago and am looking to get back into it.

Since it has been a long time I find it hard to understand everything again, I want to join my local club but it advices on using 27t brushed, 13.5 brushless cars which I am clueless about.

Can anyone recomend a good magazine or book to buy that can bring me upto speed again.

Oh I used to race a Grasshopper 2 by the way (still have it)

Had a nitro car for a while but hardly got used so took ages to get running properly, loved it when it was running well though.

got new one built up now, was waiting for good shell.

Was given a chasis from Mar_k about a year or so ago that neeeded a rebuild, ended up fixing the chasis and getting to nice working order and then yesterday came across a bargain and collected it today...some pic's-

then all fitted up to new chasis, looks ace!

How hard are they to paint? you need a special little air gun to do it?
