any body know how to tension up a alternator belt on a rover 400?

Yes theres a 8mm bolt that goes into the alternator its self and presses onto the bracket which forses it outwards and tightens it, Its just above the bottom bolt that holds the alternator in place, Its a twat to do but if i can do it i dont see any reason why you cant Good luck
