Mine was made by Tom at AVA and used my original Pro alloy cooler and a genuine 500 coole that AVA donated it runs with 3 " pipe and pretty big end tanks.

Seems to work very well with peak ACT's this year on brunters at only 35 deg with something like 13-14deg ambients as it wasnt cold.

Last year with the normal Pro alloy only they were reaching 50 deg on a much colder day, 4 or 5 deg ambients.

Judging by these results my cooler does its job and removes the need for any kid of WI etc but its not a straight fit as the front crossmember had to be removed and altered so the cooler could fit.

I have had a convo about coolers with Alan at AVA who has tested thousands of cossies over the years on his rollers and always said the genuine one seems to be consistantly the best with the Pace being the worst and all others being somewhere in between.

That's not true! Ask them for a fuel cell like mine or Porkie's and that's exactly what you get, same goes for the other parts.. Have never used Radtec myself but compared to Proalloy their fabrication looks agricultural
martin if u read the thread again its about intercoolers not fuel cells and i think the weld and finish on radtec coolers are quality

I used the fuel cell as an example as lot's of these have now been sold but if someone wants the same intercooler or radiator as mine they only have to ask!!

ah ok martin ! im quite happy with my radtec cooler didnt think the finish was that bad tbh and seeing as its behind a rad and front panel i couldnt careless if it was bright pink with blue spots

ive used proalloy gear on my rst , intagraile and found them not to be a great deal better thn standard

PRO ALLOY everytime

Alex and wayne offer service that is unique to you, whether it be an off the shelf item they sell or a variation of it they WILL and ARE always happy to do what you require.

They have made my radiator fuel cell and am to place my order for a shortend Rs500 cooler with my own choice of diameter/angled pipes.

You wont be disapointed by there service and more importantly there product.

Pro Alloy made all the Aluminium parts for this car,
This charge cooler is simply art work,as it is the dash in the car.

Fastest street car on block treads OUTRIGHT!!

This was ent to be at Ford Fair on the Pro alloy stand.

this really isn't about who's c*ck is bigger than who's imo is not about who supplied who with what Ah fabs- used to make everything for the scooby WRC cars till they went in house and also have the sole rights to make certain alloy parts for that new road legal F1 car.... at the end of the day imo its about price and quality i'd ring round and see who does it the cheapest out the top 3 rated companies available if it were me...

Has to be said, I have 2 AH fabrications Intercoolers (RS 500 style) and a AH fabrications Rad, and the quality on both is FAR superior to the other brands I have seen, welds are perfect, fit is perfect. Check them out, then make your decision

Neither do nissens...

Wayne, Is there anything you can do for making a larger intercooler for the Mk2 Escort rad and IC combo ? my RS500 IC tbh is a fair bit smaller than the other 500 coolers which does concern me a little.

So far the whole lot is unfitted but I'd rather cut the car once than have to modify it in future to accept a larger cooler

Any ideas or do those coolers really do the job.

Workmanship on it though is superb
