How do you remove the plastic filler pipe that leads from the petrol cap to the actual petrol tank?

im doing a underside restoration and i cant see how you bloody get it off

From tank end it just pulls out

From filler cap end i'd immagine their will be a screw holding it in place behind the cap?

i sort of second guessd the tank end will pull out but i didnt want to just pull it like a cunt lol

i cant see much behind the cap but ill have a look now
