Default I fookin hate loft insulation

Wife decided as she was shopping I could get on with putting the downlights in the bathroom. Taken most of the day as I've had to clear all the shit from th eloft so I can lift the boards and move the insulation.

My throat feels scrathy and I'm itching like mad. One last one to go up and then I'm calling it quits with a bottle Corrona from the fridge.

Will do the wiring tomorrow

Had to insulate an tiny cramped attic (more a crawl space) during the summer, Just happened to be one of the few hot days we got so it was really hot and the air was hardly breathable

Definetaly use a mask though next time your up there, No way at all breathing the stuff in can be good

use cold water to wash it off or your pores will open up and it will get in there. Also the reason it itches is cos you have loads of microscopic cuts on your skin

I work with fibreglass (although not the wool) every day so it doesn't really bother me but I always wear a mask (got a shit hot 3M one from work )

having a warm bath seems the best thing for getting the fibres out and stopping the itch

Part P probably doesn't cover it as it'll be an extension to/of an existing circuit :P

My mates Part P and he told me how to do it and will be checking out my handy work when he comes over later. All lights are in Zone 3 as per manufacturers instructions
The wiring is done and in and the best bit was when I put the power back on to the lighting circuit not only did I not burn the house down but my lights worked.

top tip- wash in cold water overwise you will regret it because it'll open the paws in your skin, same theory with throat, cup of teat etc will reali itch your throat if you have it in your throat , shouldnt normally itch though
