The engine runs a standard chip below 3,000 rpm and the Mountune chip above 3,000 RPM. The car was running a Mountune GRP N chip all the time I owned this car, but it was updated to the latest version this year.

From what he's described, sounds like he should know what he's on about.

But seems weird, no expense spared as he seems, wouldn't a livemap be done?
Would have mpg and drivability sorted at lower revs, and whatever else above 3000 - which I presume these (possible) 2 chips are doing?

hard to fathom how people genuinely think you could need 2 chips for one engine and fuel type...

So you have TWO badly mapped chips then, one only runs right BELOW 3000rpm and one ABOVE 3000 rpm
