Default Stack Dash arrangements

can i have a peek at peoples stack dash set-up's please.

after ideas and inspiration for what to do as im stuck at the moment wether to go for the usual triangular style stack or the 80mm style.
dont want conflicting colour arrangements or or anything looking out of place.

i love how Martoon's and Porkies are but down side is all my Defi's are white and the Stack boost gauge etc is black.

or alternatively Rainbird style but then over kill with the extra features repeating most of what the defi's display already.

dont you just hate wasting money

No pics yet kelv as im still getting bits together, but im planning on 80mm boost gauge then the original fuel and water at the top in the middle with a stack rev/speedo on the left, with the original idiot lights fitted around. Just trying to get a spare set of clocks so i can get the elecs at work have a play with them. Im using white faced gauges so should fit in with the original two.

i like your idea's Neil, could work well when completed

i was kind of thinking of the two 80mm round ones, Mike can do me the 80mm boost gauge but then that means ill have to get them all in black, and clashes with the white defi's in the centre panel.

Now more thinking of a single 80mm in white and two gauges either side of it, maybe my 60mm Apexi boost but then its sourcing something else to match up with it, lol - maybe a Defi fuel presure unless i could source an Apexi Fuel P to match the Boost.

Hi Kelv

I was in the same situation as you as i have 6 Defi's that do everything but my Speedo, rev counter and fuel guage are fcuked and as i didnt need all the stack features i was going to have just a Single 80mm style one with a seperate fuel guage

But to be honest for an extra whatever it is the basic Full stack isnt much more and you can still use things like the oil temp but for say your gearbox oil insted of the engine

I also have a water temp Defi that is before the water is cooled and the one that is on the dash is after its cooled so that can be used on the stack to keep 2 readings, before and after

not sure what model mine is but Goldbum will be able to tell you

hope that helps

Stack + EGT and Boost

Although if I source another apexi el 1 gauge (maybe oil/water temp) I'd like to put the boost back in the A pillar pod

The stack does everything else

Have afr gauge in the clock!!

Need to find something for the centre pod now though, as I'm not sure I can be arsed to wire an inverter up to it so it lights up!!

Ben, i like the idea of monitoring gearbox etc - i hadnt even thought of that.

im the same already with the Defi's, Defi water is tapped into bottom of swirl pot, where as the pectel shows whats being read at the back of the head, was going to then get the stack water on the leading side of the thermostat aswell, 3 monitored points.

oil temp defi is in the sump and with your idea the stak could cover the gearbox maybe

talking away, Ben youve helped me make up my mind on exactly what im going for, more Rainbird pestering, but atleast hes about to get paid for it

Kev, Pectel monitor in the banana pod will be a good thing to source if you ever fancied it, or found one.

There is!!

Get the inverter from RS components (part number on here somewhere!!) and wire to the old 'lights on' circuit and then plug the centre pod back in

I have defi's and in white. I am very fussy for making sure everything matches. The boost gauge is a HKS 2.5bar, which matches the defi's almost perfectly....
