What does everyone else think of them??
Late august i purchased a Nokia 8600 luna and was well chuffed with it, then it developed an audio fault. Took the phone in ( 40 miles away due to me wrking nearby ) and it was sent away for a week for repair. 7 days later ( and 40 mile journey ) they gave me a recon unit saying the other wasnt repairable! I wasnt happy, but couldnt be arsed to argue.
2 weeks later the phone again developed an audio fault. I called Vodafone direct, but due to a store issuing a replacement handset, they now told me i had to take it up again with that store and send the phone away!
40 mile journey the phone was taken back to the same store and again the phone sent away. 7 days later ( and 40 miles )i get the phone back and within 4 days the same audio fault accured!!!
I called vodafone direct again and kicked off. I was offered another recon unit or a N81 or Sony erricson K850i ( both would be new ). Now on my price plan the 8600 Luna is £100 ( which i paid ) and the two i was offered were free on my price plan. I argued that if i was to take one of these i wanted my money back or i wanted a NEW 8600 luna again. I was told a manager would call me within 24hrs.
24hrs later no call!
I called again and kicked off only to be told a manager would call me within 24hrs!
I recieved a call to be told i could either have a new K850 or N81 or a recon luna.... My choice!
I later called back to accept the 8600 luna but was then told they have no recon units nor new units in stock!!! and i could have another phone! Again i kicked off and threathened legal action, but was told a manager would call me within 24hrs!
24hrs later, no call!
I called and really let rip! i have now been offered a K850I and £100 refund.... Maybe a result, but id still rather the 8600.
Does anyone have a K850i?

They are useless.
Cancel the Direct Debit and believe me they will call you within an hour of the payment being declined.
I have been with T - Mobile for about 9 years (when they were One 2 One) and they have been gold. Never a problem and always answer their phones.

I had 8800 sirocco that had similar problem, so in the end i was on the phone to them moaning and went "oops, would you believe ive just dropped it in the bath" - told them id hang up as i need to get on to their insurance services.
14 days later, brand new boxed 8800 sirocco drops on my doorstep.

Ericsons are'nt always reliable its usually the software that fucks up, my mrs had a k800i and the software fucked up on that then she got a new one and 3 months later the bastard thing won't charge
I've had no trouble with my w810i though even dropped it in a puddle and it never even affected it

Been using my luna today and every time i make a call its fked up, so im glad im trying something different! I was guna make an insurance claim but i guess with the luck i have at the moment something would have gone wrong!LOL
The missus has got a 8800 and apart from batt life she has no problems!

And im with "3", had no problems with them either, just wish i wasnt in a "non 3G" area, i have to drive 3miles away from my house before i get 3G pop up on my phone

I have tryed them all and have kept my number on all of these networks
and seriously i have found Voda phone the best reception/coverage of the lot
the worse was 3 network seriously was shite i would never go back to them
you get for what you pay for
I had one of those fish nokia phones i think it was the 7600 anyway reception was shite , i took it back to 3 after one week
they said whats the problem " i told them when your talking to someone the recetion just cuts off " " they said" " it is the phone " so they gave me another phone different model nokia 6200
it was the same thing was happing on this phone , i went back up to the shop and said same thing is happing "it's just cutting off when your talking
oh they said " this should not happen , i said the best thing to do is cancal my contract please i want to leave right now
best thing i ever done i will never ever got back to 3... i dont give a fook what taffifs they are offering never again not only that when you call them them thier call center is in another country
ill stay on voda thanks
