Now THAT is where it is at.
Ford should of been doing things like this to continue the RS pedigree after the Cosworth, but in their wisdom dropped it for nearly 10 years

I think it will look totally different to the ST and wouldnt go by leaked piccys. Wasnt the Escos tested using a series 2 shell.. wonder how many people were saying oh it looks like another series 2.

More info from the autocar website, it mentions a twin turbo setup.
Looks like Ford is going to press on with it

Its about time they brought back a proper RS
Come on boys we want 300 BHP, 400 ftlb and 4wd !!
They use it on the rally cars, so why not just make a dam road car

Don't read too much into the picture as the email I have from Ford states that the styling and spec of the car is yet to be decided so that's just to get people talking - Which has worked! 
The good news is that they've confirmed, not just the linked sites, that they are definitely doing a Focus RS and that something based on the 2008 Focus platform will be unvieled mid-2008 for release in 2009!
Having chatted about this at length to Jost Capito a few weeks back I am confident that what he'll be delivering this time will be absolutely awesome, so I for one am VERY excited about this announcement!
The good news is that they've confirmed, not just the linked sites, that they are definitely doing a Focus RS and that something based on the 2008 Focus platform will be unvieled mid-2008 for release in 2009!
Having chatted about this at length to Jost Capito a few weeks back I am confident that what he'll be delivering this time will be absolutely awesome, so I for one am VERY excited about this announcement!
