i can see you having to be more sensitive on the focus as with the rear suspension you get very nice lift off oversteer, so its prob not even worth it in the focus.

still, it aids my escort

So when you say trail the brake, what do you actually mean?

I mean I can use my left foot without going through the screen, but I tend to use it if i feel im still going to fast but I want to keep the front wheel turning/accelerating when Im leaving the corner, from what I understand if you put to much pressur on the brake going into a corner you will lock up and just go straight into the scenery
so I drive on the basis of brake in a straight line, slow in fast out, but will use the left foot to curb some of the speed when mid/exit of the corner if it is understeering.

Not sure I have explained myself well there, but hopefully someone will understand I this vague description what you mean by trailing the brake?

Have a look at this mate.

I think it'll explain a lot to you, and is what the original post was about.

Takes a bit of practice, but works well with a ATB diff, not so well with plated as discussed earlier.
