The 3 things any advert should have is

1, Price
2, location
3, contact phone number

Pisses me of so much when you dont get the basic info on a for sale post

I use a couple other forums, and one I use will not allow you to even post a for sale ad unless it has a price on it.... Should be implemented here, but then it's down to the mods to patrol every for sale ad to enforce it.

Yes i agree, this really pisses me off! They know exactly what they want for it so why not put the bloody price up to start with? Then they get all pissed off when you offer them a tenner, but they end up saying, 'no i want x amount for it'. Why not say that from the start then you fools!

Even worse is when they put 'PM me for a price'. Bloody donkeys!

Madness at its best.

Pure greed. Hoping someone will offer more than they actually want.

It annoys me on everything not just on cars for sale, people know a figure and it must save them so much time aswell if they named a price or a ONO figure!

Here here.

Plus EOI. What's that all about. It's either for sale or it's not. Make your mind up BEFORE posting.

And breathe.....

I like it when they say (NO SILLY OFFERS)

In other words, don't make me an offer lower than the price i'm thinking of ,but won't tell you that price i'm thinking of.Just guess without being silly.

I think its because people dont wanna put a price down incase its either too much or too less, so if someone puts in an offer its a starting point and gives the seller an idea of how much the general public thinks its worth. Not what the seller thinks....

Just my opinion...

I agree!

However... I've tried a specific social experiment tailored to those here on PF with the RS2K in my siggy.

NO-ONE has the balls to make a sensible offer.

Yet they will come on and give it the large when someone WITH the balls finally does make an offer and say "Oh, I'd have had it for that".

I couldn't give a fuck if anyone buys this car or not at the moment, but it's fun dealing with the whinging, no money idiots who are too scared to open their mouths and say a price.

And remember, without meaning to sound arrogant or rude, I probably buy and sell more cars in a month than most of you guys have/will in a lifetime. [although not the last few months as it's been slow as fuck ]

*EDITED TO ADD* and I think most people that SERIOUSLY ask for offers, are too scared to put a price on their car themselves. So bid them in the nuts and see if you win
