Default or "non answer" will lead to a judgement in your favour, and thus wreck his ability to obtain a mortgage or loan for a "good while". That will harm him much more than having to stump up the 500 quid! Now this is a serious suggestion! !

I did stay in contact with Lewis for a while but probably havent spoken to him for about a year or so. From what I know/knew of him I can't see why he has done this as he was an honest, genuine guy (which is why I'm sure Lee thought lending the money wasn't a problem). He's even crashed at my place various times over the years when we all went out on the pish.
From what i gather from when I last spoke to him last year he has moved from where he was living into his girlfriends place? Whether he is still there or not god knows.
Hope he does the decent thing and gets in touch Lee, purely for the principal of it
