but when you start messing with the mixture screw to match the the air thats going in what happens to the emisions? i meen mostly when idling coz it will be rich as fcuk then and the plugs will get all shitted up. or am i wrong? what's your view as im trying to get my head around it

mixture screw just adjusts the co2 table in a linear fashion

( ive only got a basic understanding, so ill let the experts go from there)

on a rs it literally just moves the co content up or down the scale.

to change the mixture you need to have the car mapped so that it only richens on boost

RIGHT so to fit my 31 i would have to have it remaped and not adjusted on the co/mixture screw?

if you adjust the co screw, i expect youll be posting next week that youve blown it up,

also, you cant just fit a -31 actuator, you need to set the boost to a safe level,

ie, you cant get a standard cossy, or rs turbo and run 25 psi,

it will blow up.
theres always a picture of a big bomb explosion on posts like these, i expect some one will post it soon lol
