Default donington passenger rules

how strict is the age limit enforced?
my lad is 15 and desperately wants to go out
on track,
now i'd imagine its a size thing so that they are
properly fitted to seats and belts etc? he's
big for his age so i'm happy he'd be in no danger
and fully within the seat/belt.
so would it be at the discression of briefing staff?
Ben is it?

Nobody under 16 allowed in the cars or on the pit wall.... those are the rules.

Although my first time out on track I was 12 and no bigger than 5ft 5

Lee.... the only checking that will be done is when the marshal indicates for drivers and passengers to show wristbands as you're going out on track.... they don't physically check the wristbands either as you're usually on the move. A marshal won't be able to tell how old your son is with a crash helmet on anyway.
