Theres an E30 thats been totally stripped at the back of one of the Heathrow long termers, but fuck knows how that got there.

There are security patrols in 4x4s all night that ive seen, and some nice cars parked there tho.

I left my E39 in the Manchester Airport T1/T3 long stay carpark for 7 days last week while I was on holiday, absolutely no problems at all.

Booked online, drove there, put debit card that I booked with into the barrier machine, barrier raised, parked car, locked it up etc etc and took my keys with me - no-one else gets to drive it. Returned back and placed debit card in gate machine for barrier to raise and off I went.

No damage to the car at all (I purposefully left it filthy so any slight knock or denk would show up in the road grime ) and security are patrolling 24 hours

Best of all, bus to and from the terminal building every 15 mins all day and night

Porkie.

I left my Foucs ST3 there for a 2 week period in June at Gatwick airport.

On my return car was still there with no issues at all, no dents scratches etc etc.

Its like a massive super market car park IMO. You park up leave the vehicle, pot luck really if anything happens to the car.

Regards

I would not leave that kinda of car in Luton your have everyman and his dog peering into it etc.

Surely you drive him there and look after the car for him then pick him up....

Ask Renton about when we went to Gatebil. We both had almost identical blue 1.25 Zetec Fiestas parked in the Long termer at Heathrow. The journey home was fooking hilarious!!!

There could only be one winner though

Lee,

Best bet IMO is to find a good reliable guest house and pay them for parking. It will be cheaper, but also, they will probably hem it in so that it can't stolen.

Pawn it for the week, car will be kept in a secure compound, and they have to sell it back to you at the price they gave you for it- think you have a month to buy it back before they can put it on general sale - Bingo, free parking

then he'll want a "you park your car" one,

what airport, city seems to have decent secure parking, stansted, gatwick seem avarage.

i've worked in the park and ride terminals at heathrow (drove the courtesy coaches to and from the terminals) and it's only people who've got cars that can get in
there is plenty of security as the buses go round every 15 minutes and the drivers keep an eye out

also, if you have a bad experience it puts peole off and there is a huge loss of revenue when that happens so it pays them to look after your motors proplery.

They managed to scrach my mondeo and then came with such shite "before and after pictures" and said damage was already there.

From the picture it was hard to tell it was actually a mondeo, lol, so how they could tell the damage was before...

all a big scam, they take your money and fuck you off when you try to claim.

Also got a mate who worked a while in a parking lot like that. Some of the cunts there absolutely trash the living hell out of the cars. Even not exotic ones, just because they're cunts.

A good mate of mine recieved a fine thru the post for dropping litter from his car in some estate in nottingham...

Only he was in Portugal at the time, and his car was supposedly in sucure parking at Donnington??? he had to travel to nottingham with proof of where he was and when... The police let him of but could not take it any further as the car park insisted the car had not been moved... read into that what you will.

After that If i'm in that situation I will pay someone to take me to the airport and collect me, rather than risk leaving a car at one of those places.

I used to work at Luton Airport and park opposite the long term carpark.

Alsorts of Bentley's Ferrari's Lambo's etc.... Always about. Seen a few broken windows and the like. Even saw a Porsche parked in the same spot for 3 weeks with the drivers window down

I live about 3 mins away from the airport so maybe it would be a good idea to leave the car with me (Please)
