Default dvd recorders, whats the easiest to use?

rather than the best to record?

i've got 2
a panasonic one that's a peice of piss to use but no hard drive and the lg one which is a pain in the arse but has hdmi stuff in it as well as a 300 hour hard drive

the only problem is that the lg one is so hard to fathom the controls for, i've not bothered to use it, but i really like the panasonic one but it's got no hard drive function

i've been to the sops and they either techno baffle me or don't have a clue

so do panasonic do the same recorder but WITH a massive hard drive or not?
