The one I used to have was about 3 pages long, but decided that it was full of a lot of un-neccessary information.

I went into loads of detail about my jobs etc, but i dont feel that your CV needs to have all the in's and out's.

I managed to cut it down to just 1 page.

I think it should just give a basic insight into previous work experience etc, and then if you get an interview, you can expand on the info from there. If you put it all in your CV, the interviewer wont need to ask you anything, and you also would have nothing new to say.

I also changed the layout and font i used, and think it made a huge difference to how it looks, a lot more professional. I think wee things like that can make a huge difference.

I can e-mail you a copy of the two I done if you want a look?

CV's are the biggest loads of tosh ever.

ive had some well paid jobs that i've landed with the biggets load of bullshit CV ever lol

you can search on the internet and EVERY site gives you differing advice on what to put. they tell you that your doing it wrong so that you get scared and ask them to do it.

just do a simple layout in word, no fancy borders, no itallic bollox...just a simple font with the place you worked, the dates, then a list of duties that you carrie dout. obviously elaborate what you did, make yourself sound fucking ace lol

aslong as the CV tells them where youve worked and that your duties match the kind of one's that they may ask you to do, then it'll be down to the interview whether you get it or not.
