Wife has finally got her way!!! (sellin cos for porsche)

As some of you guys know, I have been toying with the idea of buying a new car (in this case a 996).
Wife has put foot firmly down and told me the cossie must go!
I tried the whole "It isnt worth anything like as much as I have put into it" thing, but she has had the last word this time.
Aboslutely gutted, but such is life.
Check out my ad all those interested in the correct section (cars for sale!)
In the meantime- your deepest sympathies please!

Aboslutely gutted to be frank.
Tried absoutely everything to convince her that it wasnt worth selling, but she just aint having it this time!

JJ not having ago but my wife couldnt give a fuck if i keep or sell it shes worked out if it aint the cossie itll be something else but am i selfish in saying id tell he fuck off if a was told to sell it ! the only way my cars going is if as a family we are in a situ that is bad enough to get rid

Genuinely interested if people think the price is therabouts though. I have avoided asking this because I know the reaction it usually gets!

why do you have to do what your wife says? surely you have just as much right to keep it?
Some of you fellas really need to stick up for yourselves a bit more!
*EDIT* I have just read your for sale ad and it would appear that what your wife has said that if you want a Porsche the cossie has to go!! this would seem a bit fairer and i can now see her point!
if this is the case you should amend your initial post as it looks like your wife is just ordering you to sell the Cossie!!!! lol

There is NO way i would sell my car because the missus told me to!!!!
I'm quite lucky that she's into cars and loves the saff (almost) as much as me but i'd only ever sell it if i got bored or was in severe dire straits!!
Tell her to sell all of her shoes!! lol

My misses wouldnt dare tell me to sell my car. Cause she knows how much i love my cossie. The only way it would go is if i sold it for another car. Ive got her trained well.
