I've been told the best thing for leather seats, is brake cleaner

But this is used when you want the seats to look dull, especially in esc cos's when they go shiney with more miles etc

i'm noy joking but back to black is the best thing for it ever. i used it on an off black color and it came up really nice. aslong as the original leather colour is dark back to blak is the thing.

Back to black? As in the stuff you use on plastic bumpers etc?

Surely that wont cover up faded leather?

Cheapest, quickest fix is that shoe polish in the squeezy bottle with the foam applicator bit on the end.

There's better, more permanent fixes but if you're selling the car who wants to spend more than Ł2 on something other people will enjoy and probably not even notice?

Paddy

I've just tried some shoe polish on it & it seems to have covered it up but it looks dull, I'll buff it up in a bit

Nick - I have some beeswax here somewhere

i use shoe polish.
called meltonian shoe cream (spelling) made by woly. its available in allsorts of colours including various shades of grey/black.
try an old school shoe repairs shop not any of the high street chains.
was recommended to me by a m8 who has been in the car/automotive trimming business for years & does the job
