well done matey, enjoy it,
i am sure you will understand the paranoia other people have mentioned pretty soon.
My advice for what its worth, if it needs work doing on it, do it straight away, dont put it off, cus in my experience it only leads to a bigger bill

I bought mine and drove it home then didn't drive it again for 3 weeks until i'd had time to change the engine, gearbox, transfer box and diff oils and give it a once over

Remember my first cossie, a 2 wheel sapph. Fantastic car, but only managed to own it for 23hrs and 15mins before I wrote it off in some trees
Wish I had been fully comp

Definately get it set up. Mine felt quick but was running shite. The boost was all over the place. For the cost of Ł150 its money well spent for peace of mind and mine was so much quicker once set up properly as well.

my first go in a cossie, it was wet, 2wd and the arse end shot out.
I think some poo came out, fortunately not out of my ass, but my mates, who owned it and was in the passenger seat with a look of terror
Off the throttle and she kicked back in and all was good apart from the odour from the passenger seat.

pics at last, fairly standard except stage 1 chip, full mongoose and Koni's (in boot still to be fitted lol) plans are to fit suspension and give her a good polish - plus got my eye on my mates 16" Compomotives although i like the original wheels on her:
Hope ya like

very nice mate, if i ever get shot of mine, i will have a silver one.
Noticed its still on standard hoses, check and make sure they havn't gone spongey, trust me you dont want the water hoses to split (cost me the headgasket last time)
also looks sweet on standard rims, mine too is on standard rims
