No joke going on the PILL!!!!!!!!
I am having to go on the BIRTH CONTROL PILL, and NO, it's not because I look preggie, but it is for INFECTED ACNE.
Is anyone else(MALES) on here having to take this stuff, are there any side effects ?
My doc tells me this is the best treatment for a recurring problem.
Any input most appreciated, thanks.

I remember an Ex (bird) taking the pill to control her acne and it worked a treat, but never heard a bloke taking it, but i guess it will just do the same?

If your acne is severe ask your doc for 'ro-accutane'. A bloke taking hormones to treat acne sounds a bit chicken oriental to me.
Ro-accutane does have side effects but the common one's are nothing more than a pain in the ass.
It's most effective treatment for acne, bar none. Blows antibiotics, hormones, peroxides into the weeds.

when i was younger and had abit of acne i got this stuff in a small bottle called "Dalacin T topical solution" it worked ok i think, used it for years and it did help.

I tried absolutely everything to get rid of mine, and while some stuff worked to a degree, nothing comes close to this stuff. I bought mine direct from the states, expensive, but you don't have to piss about with fucking useless UK dermotologists on shoe-string budgets who don't give a shit. I took 40mg a day, and by the third week of taking it, ALL traces of acne had vanished. As said correctly sbove, there are side effects, but the worst I had was very dry lips, but this only lasted for aroung a month or so.Trust me, I suffered for over ten yeara, so stop fucking about with talk of the pill (if it did clear up acne, the drug companies would have noticed) and get yourself the daddy of acne-bashing!

I was scared of growing boobs and that, as a side effect, but it is bad as it gets so severe it is a hospital visit each time for lancing and packing.
I know of one other male on it, a friends son and he says it works well with no side effects for him, so there is hope.
I think CYSTIC acne is the kiddie as that is what it produces, bloody hurts as well!!
Sod it at least I can sleep around safely now!!

different drugs do different things, but if any of them give you side effects like fucking your liver up then they aren't really worth the hassle
my brother had realy bad excema when he was younger and the chinese hearbal remidy shit cleared it up a treat
but he went to the hospital for his routine check ups and they told him to stop it as it was bashing the fuck out of his liver
rather carry on with life with a bit of itcheyness and some creme than be on a waiting list
