Hi there 3 years ago i had a bad case of blood poisoning after a cut to my finger in work.After two and a half years they have made me an offer of 6 thousand pounds.My finger still plays up now and again.Has any one had a pay out do you think this is a fair offer any advice thanks a lot

is it the full and final settlement?
if it is they'll not be intrested in anything later on so if you lose your finger in 2 weeks time after you've accetped the offer they won't be liable

how long was you off work with the blood poisoning...

make sure you dont have to pay the company back lost wages out of your claim before you say YES...

if off for a long time. the wages bill needs to be added on the final payment

my mate is a bricker and he was off work for 20 weeks at a 1000 pound a week so thats 20 grand before they even started

loss of earnings and compensation are not the same thing.
if your mate got 20k for loss of earnings he got nothing for his suffering just his wages

thanks every one i dont trust the solicetor she seems to keen for me to acsept the offer it is the 2nd offer.The first was 500 less.
