I am rewiring my fuel pump and have a 40 amp relay that i will have triggered by the old +ve feed to pump.
New +ve feed to this relay from battery and feed to pump.

I have seen the diagram on here for how to connect this up but don't know what goes where on the relay the 4 connections are numbered 30, 85, 86 and 87.

Can anyone help by telling me which i should connect to:
Power from battery
Fuel pump +ve
Feed from old relay
Earth

30 + power from battery

87 + power to new pump

85 earth

86 + from old fuel pump

 

30 = LIVE from battery(through fuse)
85 = EARTH
86 = LIVE, trip ie FUEL PUMP WIRE
87 = OUTPUT
