I think it was due to him trying to embrace the modern technology that is the hands free phone.....

It always happens to me when i do a bit of work at jamsport....it hurt my head 
To top it all off when i finished on the phone to stu they taped me up so tight i couldnt get it off and had to get martyn to cut the tape off with a knife
