Default flexible content management systems

One for the web nerds really this.

Ive written a content management system used by a few hundred garages to control their websites, but its only a fairly basic system.

Now that it has worked as a proof of concept, we're keen to move onto something a little more sophisticated with regards to uploading images and stuff like that in a nice slick interface, but at the same time it needs to be something we get the source code for and on a licence that allows us to alter the code.

Written in Java would be ideal, but not essential.

Anyone got any recomendations based on something they have actually used?

Cost isnt too much of an issue, providing its only 5 figures or less so it doesnt have to be free or anything like that.

Ive written into our system (VB based) a programme to upload property images and details to websites such a findaproperty , rightmove, and the Agents own sites.

Call me and speak to me then.

Seriously, my company could help you in many ways. We work for companies such as DuPont, Audatex, BMS and BodyMaster.

We also have a product that we have developed and integrated into hundreds of bodyshops and there websites.

Your call.

Yeah Ive written plenty of them myself previously, but I wanted something that was generic, sorry I cant go into the reasons for that, but Im aware of how "easy" they are to right (If you call potentially a couple of hundred days of my time at a grand a day easy, lol)
