Got some problems with our TV's at home, started noticing the problem with our reasonably new Toshiba 32" LCD but now noticed it on a TV set upstairs which would hopefully dismiss any concerns of the LCD being faulty!

Basically on ITV and Ch4 the picture (on either TV) is very pixelated, looks like an aerial/signal issue but cant see anything apparently causing it!

Ive tried removing/re-fitting cables into both and also tried resetting the LCD (prior to noticing the other TV showing similar symptoms)

Obviously none of this has worked and the TV's arent working properly! We have a hard wired signal booster in the loft, could this be the cause of the issues? Is it just a case of resetting that?

 

Booster might have shit itself

Happened to me with the freeview on ym pc.. channels 18 and 21 (both music channels) became pixelated and sometimes froze

Got a new booster from ebay for a couple of quid and everything has been fine since

Actually i got bored one day and got 4 boosters and soldered them in sequence? and that was the first time the freeview box had signal and quality meters filled all the way with the one booster they are both on half
