was just tucking in when i felt this hard weird thing in my mouth .........turns out to be a bloody metal spring ,sainsbury,s shall be getting an angry phone call tomorrow

Best thing to do is take it down there, show them that you arent very happy but dont go having a go at the person in front of you cos that isnt fair the person in customer services didnt put the spring there and probably doesnt get paid enough to take that sort of abuse, Trust me I work in services for tesco and people seem to forget that they are talking to another human being

Just take it down there tell them that you are not very happy, they might need all the packaging so they can trace it back to the supplier, then get them to put what you want said on the report not what the assistant just writes as the its your words and it might convey better how you feel. No.1 rule be polite!? will get you further that and shouting at them wont look good if was to go further

 

cheers guys....i'll get the wife to deal with it.....couldnt beleive it though,not the sort of thing you expect to find in your food......it was a bit rusty aswell.

 

take loads of pics of the stuff and make sure you keep a record of when and wehre you bought it, the recipt numbers etc and the package numbers as well

just in case

if you want to be really horrible, write to the sun or soemthing but let the store deal with it, they'll probably get money from the supplier/producer which they'll either pass on to you or split with you

the wife has since phoned up and has been asked to take it back with all packaging and go straight to customers services,they was obviously very apolagetic.

 

when i was young, 8 or so i was eating beef. mmmmm, anyway put a nice big git in my mouth and started crying casue of pain, mum didnt know why i was just crying like hell so she looked on my mouth and a sweing needle was verticle in the roof of my mouth, a huge one at that, she says it was about 1 - 2 cm deep.

 

they may stop using themas suppliers, haven't you see shawshank redemption where he bribes the prison warden with money hidden in his mrs cakes to stop him from doing the work etc?

 

You'll probably see them recalling all of them in the near future though.
