Best thing to do is take it down there, show them that you arent very happy but dont go having a go at the person in front of you cos that isnt fair the person in customer services didnt put the spring there and probably doesnt get paid enough to take that sort of abuse, Trust me I work in services for tesco and people seem to forget that they are talking to another human being
Just take it down there tell them that you are not very happy, they might need all the packaging so they can trace it back to the supplier, then get them to put what you want said on the report not what the assistant just writes as the its your words and it might convey better how you feel. No.1 rule be polite!? will get you further that and shouting at them wont look good if was to go further
