Default Escort van rear drum to disc conversion.

Hiya guys,
can anybody help me with a project, I have a Ford Escort van ('95), I am trying to convert the rear drum brake system to disc, I purchased the full kit for a car but this is not compatable with my rear axle, do any of you know the kit I require for mod con?
I would appreciate all advice.
Many thanks.

Firstly you might want discs on the back but you certainly don't need them. The drums should be more than up to the task at hand especially as the back of a van tends to be lighter than a car and in need of no additional braking force.

I would honestly strip and rebuild the drums to ensure they are working properly and sell the disc conversion on to recover the costs and spend the cash on items you do really need.

If you are desperate to get the discs on for pub bragging rights then it can be done but you may need some bracketry made up for the job at hand
