Does anyone know what i have to do to get a focus st3 to work in a differnt car apart from a st?

need to know if i can get around all the fancy electronic coding they have these days

also ive measured up the escort its going in and its going to be a tight fit, is there anyway i can moddify the chassis safly?

the seller has good feedback but he himself isnt saying wheather it runs or not

all he said is its out of a written of st thats been rolled?

i dunno weather to chance it or not

Don't forget the modern engines will need the correct original ECU to run it, as everything from the fuel pump to the door locks are controlled by it, might be worth asking if they will sell you the whole car.

its not just the ecu, i think a lot of the electronics would be coded to that specific chassis number, and youd have to do something about the key, immobliser & ecu etc blablabla good luck whatever you do, must be worth 800 in bits seeing as the gbox and turbo are included

watsons in fife are a huge scrappies mate.as you say a bit late to get checked now but id have thought they would hav tried to get engine running when it was in car has to be worth a grand easy tho

your easiest option is probably a standalone aftermarket ecu tbh but then you can easily tune it
