ok. i found 2 used T6 ecu`s on a rallysite but they are 950£ each and havent been to service since 2000.

and they are also ford developer of some sort.i know i costs around 250£
to get a software change and another 150£ for the check up(diagnose)

and then i need a wiring loom

maybe i should go autronic instead

I have a spare T6 2000 (same spec as mine) but it would be £1400 if I were to sell..

then its just 600 less than the sq6 and i would still need the loom

maybe its more cost effective to buy a sq6 and loom straight from pectel.

i know pectel will be servising the T6 for many years but its a lot of money for a secondhand unit

Lot of money agreed, but try finding one that doesn't have some sort of history without buying new. I'm not really that bothered if i sell it or not, I'm sure it will end up on one of my cars...

T6 has its place, but its not good enough formy new car as it doesnt have enough features, its now obsolete, so if your spending that much money and need that many features buy new.

just sold my T2 because i wanted more features.

have been looking at the autronic SM4 but dont think it will be as good as any pectel unit.

that why i have started looking for a used T6 but if it works out to be a lot of money then i will buy the sq6 from pectel.

SQ6 is about 2k plus vat and a full spec loom is £650 making a total of £2650 plus vat (over 3k). You could do this 1k cheaper with T6 2000..

I´ve talked about with ryan about this ecu from ATM 3 month´s ago - you´ll need the autosport connector´s then which are about 70-80 gbp for one

Got my T6 2000 brand new in the states. External developer, still sealed, never used. It was running a later hardware version than the base map I had but Pectel transposed the Map onto the later version for me.

All done and delivered for a touch under £750 notes.
