pectel T6
ok. i found 2 used T6 ecu`s on a rallysite but they are 950£ each and havent been to service since 2000.
and they are also ford developer of some sort.i know i costs around 250£
to get a software change and another 150£ for the check up(diagnose)
and then i need a wiring loom
maybe i should go autronic instead

dont buy from unkown sources !!!!!!!
problem is T6 need updates and theres some floating about that are broken. u need to call pectel with the serial and find out if they have had it in for repairs etc.
as i said, talk to mike rainbird !!!!! he got mine and his
for the loom contact ryan off the board here or again SCS (harvey gibbs), mine is from harvey.
michael
p.s. i would not touch autronic

maybe its more cost effective to buy a sq6 and loom straight from pectel.
i know pectel will be servising the T6 for many years but its a lot of money for a secondhand unit

I agree but not everyone can afford one nor do they need all the features.

T6 has its place, but its not good enough formy new car as it doesnt have enough features, its now obsolete, so if your spending that much money and need that many features buy new.

have been looking at the autronic SM4 but dont think it will be as good as any pectel unit.
that why i have started looking for a used T6 but if it works out to be a lot of money then i will buy the sq6 from pectel.

Got my T6 2000 brand new in the states. External developer, still sealed, never used. It was running a later hardware version than the base map I had but Pectel transposed the Map onto the later version for me.
All done and delivered for a touch under £750 notes.
