M8's saph has got a rumbling noise coming from rear end/diff

When you hold the inner cv joints the 1 side has got play in it where it goes into diff,is this a sign the bearings are fooked????

Can these be replaced,or is it easier to get a recon diff????

i have a good diff that he can have off me! £120!!! will deliver it by hand for 20 quid extra (girlfreind lives in oswestry!)

 

Diff mate my mate had his one rebuilt then it went again,rebuilt it, then it went again....


I see a pattern emerging.....

 

the parts to rebuild are readily available from mainstealers , and they aint that expensive either . my m8's a total animal with his and in the past 4 years we'v had to rebuild it twice , and it never costs more than £60 .

 

Will tell him,how many miles it done m8???
