Default Computer bods - Any idea???

My screen just went black (on laptop!)... for no reason, done it twice in 30 minutes

Whats the cause?! Or more to the point what could cause it

I've turned it off the first time and re-started it, then it done it again 20 minutes later!

Just left it off for a bit, and now hoping it dont do it again

Thanks...

Couple of our tft's at work do this - just go black and only way to get em back is to blitz the on/off switch on the front about 30times.... Eventually come back on.....

Probably a power supply giving up or a dry solder joint somewhere, or dodgy ribbon connection

Like I said, could be simply a driver issue, although possibly doubtful.

The above diagnosis sounds plausible, loose/faulty connection to screen up side of lcd, or another motherboard fault..
