Diva & Escosracer swiss trackday etc
We thought we should get around to making a report on ur weekend of madness and mayhem in Switzerland........starting when Diva landed at Basel on thursday night at 21:35....
After some traditional Swiss food and wine we crashed out to get some sleep ready for what Friday would bring...
Friday started at around 09:30 when we hit the workshop and made a start on getting project "Little Shit" finished for the track
The Diva`s workbench
Diva working hard making looms for Little Shit...
And one of his finished items for the Aim dash
Followed by more hard work prepping the airscoop for paint
Then we had a little break to go and do what we have been waiting a long time for.....Picking up the new car
I think Diva was quite impressed when the sales guy cracked open a bottle of Champagne and we sat toasting the new track toy 
A few more pic`s........
We were like a pair of excited kids who had just been given the keys to a candy store
SO.........After we had a little blast around in the new toy it was back to working for us
Diva gets stuck in again
Aided and abetted by our very good friends Dieter and Luccio
Anyways, next thing it was 03:30 and we were all absolutely knackered so we left our new toy at the unit and blasted home in the staff car to get a couple of hours sleep ready to return at 06:30
The morning came in what seemed like 10 minutes(it was actually 1 and a half hours as we had some food to prepare for the trackday when we got home and didn`t get to bed until 04:30 )
Here is our happy bunch loading up for the off....
And our little crew wiping the sleep from their eyes
Anyway after a little journey that takes in 3 countries(Switzerland,Germany and france...)we are at our venue and raring to go with all our toys...
The Diva and i immediately ran in the new Porsche with a few laps and came back in after a couple of sessions with huge smiles on both of our faces and a now rather grimy GT3 covered in brake dust..
Well that`s what they are made for.....Porsche said so so it must be true
Once that task was accomplished,we jumped straight into our "Little Shit" and ended up having the most fun we have ever had...
The little Renault is outstanding and save a few minor faults it took everything we (and others)threw at it all day long and is so entertaining we were shocked
We are really knackered now so heres a few random pics for you and we will finish it later....

A nice Grp A Escos that both myself and the Diva had a play in later..

no he's not unfortunately, he's flying over and were going up on monday, probably in the audi, maybe in the 3dr.

Micheal GT3 is so and im not a Porsche fan
That Camaro wants turning into a historic race rep but with a LS motor on bodies and 6 speed box and modern brakes and suspension

today we had a bit of a sleepin but when i was getting out of my bedroom i saw an eagerly looking diva ready for more action....
so on we went and met up with a nice group of petrol heads that always take their sunday coffee together in some remote restaurant in a bit of a rural surrounding. was really nice although most didnt speak lots of english....sorry diva
on we went to luch in an italian place where we ate so much i got really really tired by the time coffee came 
then i shared my new ideas of moving to a countryside place and lost my girlfriend on the way there. She struggled with her Z3 to catch up with me n diva in the GT3 thumbs up for trying though diva came to mention the mustang cobra r so on the way back in the city we swung by moms house where exactly that is occupying garage space
a brief check of the watch then revealed a sad thing.......it was time to go home, get the divas stuff and take him to the airport
i just wanna say that we have opened a new chapter of international petrolhead relations that i am really really chuffed about 
we had a MARVELOUS time, everyone enjoyed the stressy but eventfull weekend and we now have an agreement, NO MORE SWISS TRACKDAYS WITHOUT THE DIVA, everyone else aswell welcome to join in
diva : been a blast my friend, thx for the hard work u put into little shit and may i say i feel blessed an honoured at the same time with the friendship we share
oh....little sidenote....we reckon the clutch releae bearing that sounds like an apache on takeoff needs changing....german build quality

Just spoke to Diva, he said he had a awesome time, the only downside is his flight has been delayed!

Of course you fooked something on the car, you cunt. You have to drive it NICELY during the first thousand miles, and upping the revs in steps. Your car will give its max power form 10'000km not before. Until 5'000km drive it nicely, not reving inthe red zone or hard accelerations.

It`s always an honour and a pleasure to spend time with you my friend,and to have been able to get involved with all the other guys too and be accepted by everyone even though i`m an oddball Englishman who doesn`t speak their language was fantastic...........I really did not want to get on that plane believe me...
