Default Brake Caliper Conversion

Looking to change the brake calipers on my Civic Type R. I have seen some people on here have used calipers from other cars and converted them to fit.

Any ideas if I could convert any other or is it better to buy a package intended to fit?

Thanks

I have a pair of Brembo 4 pots from a Rangerover Sport TDv8/Supercharged that are going on sale soon as I cannot fit them to the E39 for a few reasons

They are absolutely massive aswell

I fitted the same calipers to slowpokes cossie last year, awesome bits of kit

I wish they did, I'd need lower control arms, hubs, lower front sway bar and possibly more. Or at least so I've been told...

I'd be interested to know how you could make something like these fit although I'm not sure if these would go too well with the tiny rear calipers .

I take it I’d also need to change the discs as well? And would this affect anything else?

I've got 17" wheels so I can't imagine anything much over 300mm fitting with the calipers..

Since you seem to be in the know what would you recommend?

In all seriousness would they fit?

And do you think it would take much to fit these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-H...spagenameZWDVW

And where would I get the brakets made?

Thanks for your input mate.

Have you got his contact details?

And how much are you asking for your calipers? And if the ones I posted too expensive what else would you suggest?

Thanks
