On the mullet box, are any of the upgrades advised for a say 450bhp road car? Bearing in mind, it would probably be driven pretty hard?

The fixit gearbox is not worth considering for the reason you have already mentioned, I wouldn't even buy a cheap secondhand one!

Buy the magazine you cheap skate .

Martin,
Allegedly, the supply issue will soon be resolved, but quite frankly, I'll believe it when I see it .

Jon was very close to breaking it, the last time i spoke to him he couldnt go ahead with it.

and at that point he was still waiting for the Fixit kit to be returned.

he previously was running an R & D gearbox, but sold that for the Fixit, then broke it on its first outing while journeying home from National day 2006

To be honest, i have a fixit in mine, newer broken it, but the waiting time is just insane.
Have a few friends in sweeden that has waited in almost 1 1/2 year and gave up.
Fixit has gotten new machines new rooms etc but still some serius waiting, so i would also go for the mullit box.
I dont know which one is the strongest one, fixit has proved it on a 750bhp dragcar (std internals) and mullit on a 600bhp car without problems, so wouldent think about it, just buy it

Hi Scott

im not knocking the fix it in anyway it just if the fooks up you will have to wait along time for parts and atleast with the Mullit everythings here and a quick turn around normally 5 working days turn around once the box is here

there is one thing i recommend tho when you have a new Mullit kit you might aswell have an uprated center VC to set 60Nm you dont have to if you dont want too

cheers marco

Marco, what will be the benefit of having the uprated centre VC set to 60nm?

and then add that to what we spoke about for the rear diff, would it affect the way the car drove atall in any way?

Ta.
