Well done mate great news

Don't wish to put a dampener on your efforts, but just be sure this is what you REALLY want to do for a career as I am only 21 and got a job as a Quantity Surveyor when I was 16......... put through college, car etc, etc. It seems rosey at the time when you're mates are on minimium wage and you seem to have money to burn, but now in my case I cannot stand all the corporate bullshit now that I am older and have been round the block so to speak

Well done, but make sure you REALLY want it, as it may be difficult to re-train/ change careers later on (as I am currently finding)

shame you feel like that mate hope whateva you move on to is better, have you tried a different company maybe who specialise in a different type of development?

Technically im going to be a redevlopment building surveyor, similar to quantity surveyor but more time spent dealing with the actual contractors and people on site rather than at the office, but yeah, i wanted to be an accountant yeah i know but i like figures and its quite satisfying getting a set of numbers how they should be lolol

this way im sort of accountant but with an intersting bit to it aswell lol

Nice one James sounds good to me

I am currently working on retail projects, but have spent time previously out on site on major civils projects, have worked for London Underground, Network Rail, alongside Contractors etc, etc.............. so I've seem ''most'' sides of the industry and ALL sorts of people.......as said everyone's different but just make sure that what sounds great one day dosen't gradually seem less appealing
