Talking about ERST i could do with abit of advice.
Ive always loved the S2 RS Turbo and said i would have one. I bought an Astra SRI Turbo about 3 or 4 months ago which really was an impulse buy, i regret it therefore its up for sale pretty soon.
Now, i have been looking at the ERST again as one of my options but the only things putting me off is that they are getting on a bit now and it would be used as an everyday car.
Is it still worth going for one or should i leave it untill i could afford to have a daily drive aswell as an RST?

ADVICE
RUST, RUST, RUST
I use a my black 90 spec as a daily driver. Keep the mods sensible, such as exhaust, chip, filter etc and they are VERY reliable. Buy the best you can find and stay away from cars that have been played with too much.
Other than that, aslong as you can do basic repairs yourself, they make very good sense.
Try and find a nice original one! Although not easy I know!

I paid a lot for mine and it has been excellent. I've used it as my main transport for months.
As millsy said it is worth paying for one as you prob will spend a lot fixing things and you could have bought a good one in the first place.
My last one was a nightmare! There are plenty around so dont be scared to walk away especially if you see rust cos there will be worse hidden.
