Default American Hotrod / Overhaulin'

Watched both these programs last night like I usually do and noticed that American Hotrod was filmed back in 2004, and then I saw Mike the machinist from American Hotrod - the one with the plated face working for a different machinists in Overhaulin'!!!

Anyone any ideas if Overhaulin' is more recent than American Hotrod, my guess is that it is and Boyd Coddington pissed Mike off & he jumped ship! LOL!

Just wondered that was all!!!

boyd puts a lot of people through the wringer and which one os mike? the painter or the guy witht he smashed up face?

the painter left to go and work for soemoen else
the guy witht eh smashed face oly stayed with boyd because he was in a car being driven by boyd when boyd lost it and smashed his face in when teh car crashed in the desert (not boyd perosnally, he was driving, the car crashed, the crash left the fella with a bent face) so boyd looked after him
but i think that boyds either got a bit pised with him or he got a bit pissed with dwyane and they parted ways

You just need to look at Dwaynes arms to see how old each show is - on the early ones he has hardly any tatoos, and in the newest ones his arm is covered down to the wrist.

Wasn't Charlie rumoured to have been knocking off Boyd's wife?

Boyd and Duane are just the sort of people you would never want to work for.

Duane is the biggest grass in history He's always reporting back to Boyd about the smallest of issues...I bet Duane used to take the register at school when the teacher was late

i can understand that boyd used to do stuff and is famous for it, but what does dwayne the pain do other than shout at people and tell them to work harder?

i also HATE the way that boyd puts pressure on his staff to work weekends and sundays in particular when things have gone to shit

i'd rather work laterer for a ew days and have a few days off afterwards to make it easy, and, if things are going to shit and the time is running out, why don't they have a skeleton night crew come in and do the job?

if you can get people like chip foose who can build a car from stratch basicly in 6 days and nights why does boyd take soo much longer to reuild a car with 50 more people and an unlimited budjet to think about?
